The “Filharmonia Festival” is a festival of culture in various dimensions. We are dominated by the message of music, but it can be perfectly complemented by visualization and image. When we talk about the artist's photographs, graphics and photo montages, everything else goes to the side.

Most people associate the work of Zdzisław Beksiński mainly with the paintings of the first fantasy period and the late Warsaw period. However, it is worth remembering that the this outstanding creator started with photography, and after 1997 he also acted in the field of photomontage and computer graphics. And we want to show this "unknown" piece of Beksiński during the exhibition. This gallery of works sheds new light on the artist's character and is a perfect binder of the artist's entire artistic output. - says Ewa Barycka from the "Beksiński" Foundation. The event gives a unique opportunity to see photographs (1955-1960), photomontages and computer graphics (1996-2004) by Zdzisław Beksiński. The modern character of the exhibition is reflected in a project using Virtual Reality technology that allows you to delve into the world created and based on the artist's extraordinary imagination. Such a rich approach makes it possible to learn unknown episodes from the life of Zdzisław Beksiński and unknown areas of his artistic activity.

So far, the exhibition was shown in Kraków (UJ), Tarnów, Kielce (UJK) Rzeszów (URz), Toruń (UMK), Warsaw University among others.. Everywhere it has enjoyed great interest.
